Yikes! Thanks for the warning, Bob. These are indeed the stock Suzuki standoff, and yes, it uses the stock fender mounting holes, meaning near the middle of the chrome. I rarely ride with a passenger, but I'll keep an eye on my tire nevertheless. Thanks.
